Atipa Technologies Refreshes Polaris Select High-Performance Computing and Visualization Platform with 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors

Simulate and visualize larger data sets with the increased memory capacity of 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors

Lawrence, KS – April 2, 2019Atipa Technologies, a leading provider of high-performance computing and storage solutions, today announced the refresh of its Polaris Select High Performance Computing and Visualization (HPCV) platform, which includes Simulation and Modeling and Professional Visualization, using 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. The platform supplements all the benefits of a high-performance computing cluster with the Intel® Rendering Framework for software-defined visualization to enable CPU-based rendering and visualization scalable across an entire cluster of nodes without any special purpose graphics hardware.

 

Atipa’s Polaris Select HPCV clusters, which include Intel® Select Solutions for Simulation & Modeling and Professional Visualization, offer customers the benefit of the latest Intel technologies and verified performance so they can design the right system for simulation and visualization. These systems provide the capabilities and agility needed to support a range of different simulation and visualization workloads and eliminate the need for multiple single-purpose systems. In addition, the performance of key system characteristics is verified for Intel® Select Solutions at both the node and cluster level.
